I went on a Xbox Elite hunt tonight. We hit Target, Toys-R-Us, Sam's Club, Circuit City and, in a moment of last ditch, Wal-Mart. We rounded the corner into the crowded games section and WHAM! I saw the black box. To my surprise, they willingly pulled it from the glass case. I began thinking about my blog post about how cool I am, how I was going to hook it up at the house, and what games I wanted to play. The sexually ambiguous clerk scanned the box and it popped up on the register...

"SALE NOT ALLOWED"

She/he tried a few more times. Foiled by date and time technology. I told them I appreciated their valiant effort and I'd be back on Sunday. I know it seems silly to be so eager for minor hardware revision, but I don't own a 360 and my new 360 based game project is about to begin! Also, my Gold Live subscription is going to waste. :o) Would it be overboard to go buy it on Saturday night at midnight?
