Not So Mega Update... uh.... Update
The entry before this one was Indicators You Have A Stale Blog and the next one is Biz Update.
In software development (especially on video game consoles), it is not uncommon to have a "fragmentation" problem. Think about a big, beautifiul stretch of 4MB of free RAM with a 64KB allocation right smack in the middle of it. Now you need to allocate 3MB chunk of RAM. Despite total available free RAM being more than adequate, there's not a contiguous block big enough to fit your allocation. It's called memory fragmentation. I think I might be suffering from time fragmentation...
It looks as though I'll never have a contiguous block of time to give a mega uber update. So I'm going to try and break up the update into smaller entries when I have a chance. Which might not be so bad because readers might not be interested in pouring over all aspects of my life. The trick will be getting the updates done before more blog-worthy events happen... that's another video game software anti-pattern called the Evil Feedback Loop.
