Blast Off Customs: The Dot-Com Element

The entry before this one was Got Me Surfboard and the next one is Cruisin'.

My friend Scott has been talking about having me fix up his Honda Element for some time. He bit the bullet and got new rims (best visual upgrade for the dollar, BTW) then handed it to me for some customization. We didn't want to get too crazy since he already spent most of his budget on the new shoes. So we decided to drop it a couple of inches with some racing springs. I also had a surprise for Scott. He's always been an effective self promoter, which is why we call him "Dot Com". So I decided to take a chance on bringing that to his ride as well. I think he likes it. :o)

The requisite before shot. There are at least 5 other Elements in the city just like this one

After. The lowering amount is perfect. Not too extreme and the wheel well gaps are even all around. I should mention Scott did help out quite a bit with the work.

The surprise. I shaved off the original "Element" lettering.

Impromptu pose. I was going to go for the cholo gangbanger pose, but that's going to require more preparation.

Now I need to lower my own car! Too bad I washed it AFTER this pic
