Bad Blogger! No Doughnut.
The entry before this one was Tired and Inspired and the next one is Itsy Bitsy Big Ass Spider.
So yeah. I've been slacking on the blog. I started to feel guilty when I attended this weekend's Grand Strand Blogger meet up. I hate doing these aggregate posts because they don't get categorized correctly. But there's just some little snippets I want to share and they don't warrant a post on their own. Like to hear it? Here it go...
As I mentioned in the previous post, the schedule on the current game project has been slightly extended. We're making excellent progress. I have some gripes about how the project has gone. But taking a step back to survey, it's really shaping up nicely. I finally got a really tedious task behind me late last week and my goal this week is to kick ass on a big, scary task I've had on my plate for a while. As a general rule, I like the big scary ones better than the tedious ones.
I started my print modeling career last week! Ha ha! My buddy Scott recruited me to pose for a feature article in the local weekly rag. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like their online version is archived with permalinks very well so I had to snag the images they jammed in a flash file. Check it out.
As a matter of fact, I have been doing a lot of cool things the past couple of weeks. Including going to a local arts show, seeing a couple of mediocre movies, trying new restaurants, hanging with new and old friends, checking out local bands, and visiting new spots I've never been to in the area. All of this is thanks to someone special that I've met. I could write a lot on this particular subject but I'm not going to. Sorry.
Car stuff! We actually managed to get a few hours in on Saturday. I got to ripping out the rusted floors of the '54 we busted the window out of. The current plan is to cut the whole top off the car and make it a fun roadster. We'll see.
OK. I've got some other stuff to share. Expect a couple more entries this week.
