Complaint counts for US financial companies, restated directly from the CFPB Consumer Complaint Database. Every complaint in it was forwarded to the company, which had to respond — so the response is part of the record.
This covers consumer finance only — banks, credit cards, credit reporting, debt collection, mortgages and loans. The CFPB has no jurisdiction over telecom, energy, retail, travel or insurance, so no company in those industries appears here.
This is not a quality ranking, and a larger company will naturally appear more often in absolute terms because it has more customers. Rankings here are labelled strictly by the metric they measure (e.g. "most CFPB complaints"), never as a characterisation of any firm. Data sources & methodology →
"Per 10k customers" is only shown where the source publishes a customer-count denominator. Larger firms naturally receive more complaints in absolute terms, raw counts alone don't indicate a worse rate of complaints per customer.
